Social Event 9th July 2017

  • A chariot festival will be held in Southport on the 9th July where people will be walking behind a big chariot carrying an Idol of an Indian Goddess. This is to make us known to  inhabitants of Sefton since we have just started activities in this area and to let people know of our aim to help the needy children. This will be accompanied by drum players and will be very entertaining as people will be dancing along to the music in an indian style. Free vegetarian food will be distributed after the procession at Havin Restaurant and in return we are just asking for help to cover the cost of organising this event.

After the chariot procession, few people will be walking on 21 sharp swords to raise funds to help the needy children and support vulnerable adults in Nursing care homes. We also want to carry out different activities for young children during the day in Havin Restaurant. Therefore we are asking people to sponsor us for this event to support the charity to carry out these activities.
